Photoshop User Magazine (the official magazine of the National Association for Photoshop Professionals) said in its review of the S3 that if one already had the S2, one shouldn't waste money on the S3. The only disadvantage, and I believe the S3 has the same issue, is that it doesn't allow you to shoot in RAW. Oh, but the S3 comes in black and the S2 is silver.
