Three More Grads

Before I post any more of these grad pictures I would like to thank everyone who contributed and made these images a success. In no particular order, they include:

Lee Weaver
Lee was the editor of the yearbook staff and an amazing light geek. Like me only better. He had all the light and modifiers I could’ve have hoped to wish for to use for these pictures. It was super to have someone always there to adjust power flash power or move a light stand. Thanks Lee.

Lauren Mong
Lauren was also a yearbookie. Her unbridled, contagious enthusiasm made everyone more pumped about shooting. She was also very creative with posing ideas and countless of these shots were composed by her. Thanks Lauren.

Jolene Eicher
Joline’s role was not quite as great as the other members of the YB staff. However she gave a chunk of time to several of our shoots and was always willing to offer a helping hand where it was needed. Thanks Jolene.

The Grads

“Duh,” you might say. “Of course you have to thank the people you shot. You wouldn’t have had anything to shoot without them.” True, but these portraits are intended to be a representation of each of you and it would have been completely impossible without your enthusiasm, creativeity, and ideas. I knew you were all amazing people before, but you really surprised me by making this project a success.

The shooters of the school

I was blessed to have five other DSLR users and avid shooters at school, besides Lee and I. It was a blessing to be able to brainstorm before, and critique with after these shoots. Thanks, Hans, Katrina, Darren, DJ, and Krista.

So, as you can see, all I did was push the button…

    Cool!

Btw, it’s Darren and Jolene, not Darin or Joline. :)

Also, before you post mine, get the properly post-processed versions from me.

oh my, what fun! The last picture is by far my favorite. love the angle from which you shot it, how you framed it, and the lighting is a plus too.

Today, my favorite picture is Duane #2. Moody. Very Moody. Oh, and the lighting is so delicate, yet intense; mild, yet powerful. I like.

Lavern in VA: This Lee Weaver is from PA.

I love the yearbook shots, esp the one of the Lauren and Jolene. Krista’s pictures turned out well - maybe that’s because I wasn’t there… :)
