I am traveling right now and I don’t have access to my computer. Consequently, this will be a text only post.
Not to sterotype, but if I was a female I would probably be squealing and shaking my hands with delight. A friend of mine just talked to a National Geographic photographer, who seems to be interested in making contact with me and doing some shooting and he wants me to call him. I got the message second-hand so I didn’t get a chance to get any details. He may just be wanting me to sign up for some sort of camp. In any case, I am quite exicted about the opportunity.
This past week, I set up a very low budget studio with fairly decient results. I used an old slide projector screen on the porch for my backdrop. Then, in the afternoon I hung a sheet on the open side of the porch to diffract the direct sunlight. Sheet covered chairs and benches served as props for my models. All this for a grand total of $2.00. The screen was picked up at a yard sale and we had everything else on hand.
I plan to post a picture of the set-up and some of the results soon.
